Alice A. (Yankus) Bennett

Alice “Pidge” Bennett (nee Yankus), 91, of Williamstown, peacefully on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. 

Born and raised in Williamstown, Alice was a lifelong resident of Williamstown.  She worked for Atlantic Dress for many years as a seamstress.

Wife of the late Robert Bennett.  Devoted mother of Robert (Christie) Bennett, Wayne (Mary) Bennett, Karen (Michael) Richards and the late Eileen Morris.  Dear sister of the late Charles Yankus and the late Adele Creswell.  Loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown.  Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM.  Inurnment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Pet-Aid, PO Box 1402, Blackwood, NJ 08012 or a charity of your choice.
