Edith Mae (Thornton) Perkins

Edith Mae Perkins was born in New York City, NY on April 14, 1936 to James Edward Thornton and Ida Mae Thornton.  She resided in Williamstown, NJ at the time of her passing on Wednesday, January 4, 2017.

Beloved wife of Homie Perkins.  Devoted mother of Rodney Thornton, Sylvia Conard, Marva Brown (deceased), Marvyne Cameron, Douglas Perkins, Deidre Perkins and Donnell Perkins.  Dear sister of Milford Thornton (deceased), Andrew Thornton (deceased), Roger Thornton (deceased), Allen Thornton and Gloria Johnson (deceased).  Loving grandmother of Rakisha, Shamecca, Edie, Kenny, Marvin, Donnell Jr., Brandon, Preston, Tatina, Joshua, Isaiah. Dominique, Leia and Natasha.  Loving great grandmother of several great grandchildren.  Loving aunt of a host of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at St. Matthew's Baptist Church, 245 Glassboro Rd., Williamstown.  Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 AM.  Interment Brotherhood Cemetery, Williamstown.
