Douglas Family, I am sorry to hear about your loss. I first met Mr. Douglas as my elementary computer teacher at Radix Elementary. Several years later, he was my cross country and track coach at Williamstown High School. As a coach, he inspired me to always put forth my best effort. He will be missed.

I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. Coach Douglas gave me confidence as a runner in high school that still reignites in me today. His passion was apparent and his love for coaching genuine. He was as patient and motivating as a man could be. He made me a life long runner. I never thanked him enough for what he instilled in me as a young adult and even as a child.

So sad to hear about the loss of Mr. Douglas. He was my teacher at Radix, and my cross country coach in high school. He had a great impact on me. He was one of those teaches and coaches that you just don't forget. He cared about all his students, and runners. I couldn't help but to notice how much love he had for his family when watching the slideshow. He was a very special man. My prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.

I just heard about Ed and have to say from all of us we are deeply sorrowed about his passing. We would have been there but have just gotten to Maryland with Lisa, her husband and the two grandsons.
Ed was great with the kids and everyone around him. I'll always cherish our track meets with all of you and how much you meant to me. My wife and kids only have good thoughts about all of you. You have our prayers with you.
If we can do anything for any of you just let us know.
As I sob about this now, I will always remember the great times we had. Please stay in touch.

Douglas Family,

I was privileged to have Mr. Douglas as both my fourth grade teacher and later one of my coaches. He was a wonderful man, truly dedicated to those he instructed and coached - thank you for sharing him with so many of us. One of my favorite memories is from when he taught me how to run a steeplechase. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
