Geraldine (Santacroce) Cardone

Geraldine Cardone, (nee Santacroce), 80, of Camden, Gerry passed on the evening of Thursday, July 7, 2016 surrounded by family. 

Gerry was a graduate of the former Merchantville High School and a long time resident of Fairview.  Gerry spent many years in the food service industry and was recognized by many from her years as a hostess at the Elgin diner.  Gerry enjoyed cooking, gardening and in younger years bowling and shooting darts on the Fairview Gardens League.  Her main joy was caring for her family.  She was a past member of GCCC.

Beloved wife of the late James P. Cardone. Beloved longtime companion of Gordon Bayne.  Devoted mother of James (Pati) Cardone, Michelle (George) Caruso, Kathleen (late Leslie Shultz Sr.) Cardone-Shultz (fiancé Kenneth Pitoscia), Anthony Cardone and the late Joseph Cardone.  Dear sister of Constance Friedel and Louis Santacroce.  Loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are numerous friends and family.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown.  Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM.  Inurnment private.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees Township, NJ 08043.
