Helen J. (Aloszka) Venable

Helen J. Venable (nee Aloszka) died peacefully in her sleep at home at the age of 92.

Beloved wife of the late Charles B. Venable. Devoted mother of Rosemary Gallagher (Kevin) of Gerald Venable (Sharon), and David Venable (Rhonda). Devoted grandmother of Therese Bonmati (Fernando), Brian Venable, Jennifer Ritter (Kevin), Christine Venable, Aaron Venable (Anila), Beth Venable, Erica Harris (Robert), Lauren Booher (Dan).  Loving great-grandmother of twelve great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Robert Lewis (Marylin), the late John Aloszka and Mary McGovern.  Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Helen was born in Philadelphia to Frank and Angela Aloszka.  She graduated from high school in 1943.  She married Charles B. Venable and became a Navy wife in 1949. She was an avid card player and enjoyed working in her garden.  She always enjoyed the sunshine. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 9:00-10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Main Street and Carroll Avenue, Williamstown.  A Memorial Mass will follow at 10:00 AM.
