John J. Pendergast, 93, of Williamstown, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, on Friday, January 20, 2017.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee O’Brien) for 67 years.  Devoted father of John (Margaret) Pendergast, Joan (James) Temler, Elaine (Samuel) Cooper, Janet (Joseph) Gatton, Kevin (Lucille) Pendergast, the late Robert (Diana) Pendergast and the late Gerald Pendergast.  Dear brother of the late Veronica Wolf, the late Rose Turner, the late Richard Pendergast and the late Martin Pendergast.  Loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 9:30 – 11:30 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown, NJ 08094.  Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown.
