Kathryn B. (Hasson) Onacilla

Kathryn B. Onacilla (nee Hasson), 71, of Williamstown, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at home with her loving family.

Predeceased by her loving parents Babe and Kathryn Hasson and brother Stanley Hasson. Beloved wife of Paul Onacilla for 42 years.  Devoted mother of Jenny Onacilla, Daniel Onacilla, Nicholas Onacilla (fiancée Vanessa) and Julia (Jonathan) Irvin.  Dear sister of Susan (late George) Ashmore.  Loving "G” of Cole, Luke and Harry who were the shining stars her life.  Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Kay was an extremely creative person who enjoyed painting, ceramics, knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking, and creating specialized cakes.  This lead to her opening her bakery, A Piece A Cake, from which many lasting friendships were formed. 

Kay loved bringing her family together for holidays and birthdays, following the traditions her mother had established with her children. Kay touched many lives with her sense of humor and kindness.  

The family would like to offer a special acknowledgement to the physicians, nurses and staff at Penn Medicine – Abramson Cancer Center and Holy Redeemer hospice.

Funeral Services are private at the convenience of the family.
