Robert R. Atkinson, Sr.

Robert R. Atkinson, Sr., 78, of Williamstown, formerly of Paulsboro, passed peacefully at home with his loving family, on Thursday, August 17, 2017.

Robert was a mail carrier in Paulsboro for the USPS for many years.  He loved researching the genealogy of his family.  He was also a skilled handyman who especially loved remodeling kitchens.

Beloved husband of Nadja (nee Remchuk) for 50 years.  Devoted father of Natalie (Frank) Hughes and Robert (Trisha) Atkinson, Jr.   Dear brother of Kathleen (Pete) Pollicino, the late Stephen Atkinson, the late Stanley Atkinson and the late Cynthia Widener. Loving grandfather of Frankie, Hughes, Peyton and a new grandbaby arriving soon.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Tuesday from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown.  Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
