Thomas McConnell

With sweet sadness we announce Thomas McConnell passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday, August 19, 2016.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Jane. Beloved husband of his "sweetie" of 49 years Lorraine (nee Young).  Devoted father of Kevin (Holly) McConnell and Dearan McConnell.  Loving grandfather of Kevin and Jayne. Dear brother of Edward McConnell and Kevin McConnell.  Also surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Thomas was the leader in the fence industry working for Anchor Fence and Master Wire. He was an avid Yankees, Phillies, Eagles and Jets fan. He loved the Jersey Shore especially LBI. Thomas loved sports and competing. Basketball, softball, swimming, bowling (averaging 220 a game) and he excelled at all of them but golf was his passion or as he would say "goff." He loved reading, Friday night card games, and spending time and sharing his passions with his family. 

Thomas lived his life to the fullest until his last breath.  

The family requests NO FLOWERS and/or NO DONATIONS.  Just your presence to Celebrate Tom's Life on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 PM.
