Viola A. (Good) Brown

Viola A. Brown (nee Good), 69, of Sicklerville, on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.

Daughter of the late Captola and Gasaway Good was born on January 2, 1948. She was the twelfth of twelve children who grew up in Winston-Salem, NC.  

Viola completed her education in the Winston-Salem Public school system.  Afterwards, she started work with Southern Bell phone company when eventually moved to New Jersey with Jersey Bell phone company.  Finishing up in Business Associates, she began work with Chicago Title Insurance Company as a Title Clerk in personal capital.  In her time after leaving Chicago Title Insurance, she work with a private school system with assisting special needs students in coordinating their needs between parents, teacher, and social matters with their peers. 

Viola especially enjoyed outgoing activities and traveling with her family and friends most of all. She was a very active member with South Jersey Kite Flyers and the AKA Associations. 

Preceding her in death are her parents, and siblings, Arlean Preston, Katherine Good, Theopfulus Good, Mattie Bass, Leon Good, Louise Coleman, Roscoe Good, Ernest Good, and Haywood Good. 

She leaves in mourn a dedicated partner in life, Andrew James Selzer, of the home.  She met Mr. Andrew (Andy) Selzer, who has been her life partner ‘til her demise.  Viola and Andy also enjoyed spending time at various kite and balloon festivals and many of the other outings that kept them out and about enjoying the time  that being together and with others brought to them.  They lived and enjoyed their lives to the fullest. 

She leaves in mourning her son Dominique Good and granddaughter Kendra Nicole Good; her sisters, Margaret Johnson, Elizabeth Good and a host of other relatives and loving friends;  Best Friend: Lillian Oglesby and daughter Ikea Oglesby and Godchildren in mourning Derick Lilly AKA (Pig), Miesha Lilly AKA (Fruity) and Timothy Lilly AKA  (Weasel).

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, February 15th from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM.  Cremation private.
