William Weiser, Jr. Obituary

William L. Weiser, Jr., 74, of Williamstown, formerly of Beverly, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

Dad, or Chip as a lot of people knew him was one of a kind. As long as I knew him, he was one of the hardest working people. He was a mechanic for years. He was also with Burlington County Times for twenty years. He worked a lot of hours during the week to provide for the family. At one point before he had medical issues, he had three jobs at once. He had much dedication to make sure his family was safe and well provided for. When we had time together, we would go out to places. When I was younger, we would go to monster truck shows, circuses, anything that was a fun time for the family. In later years he enjoyed relaxing and watching movies. His favorites were action movies and comedies. In more recent years he always loved visiting family and attending get togethers. He loved getting to see grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He had nicknames for everyone. He always called me Junior. He was always asking how everyone in the family were doing. He always loved sharing stories about cars, or the fire company be used to be a member of. One of his proud moments was when he rescued a girl from a house fire. To which he fell from a window, but he was glad the girl was safe. He was always talking about his old friends, one being Eddie Allen. Before he had medical issues, he was in talks of going back to the fire house and helping train younger members. He always showed respect to others. One of his best moments within the last year was getting to relax with family at Uncle Al and Aunt Michelle’s cabin. His body may have become weak, but his spirit and hope through everything, and his love for family and close friends, was unbreakable.

Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Mahoney).  Devoted father of William (Jessica) Weiser and Cheryl Lynn Weiser. Dear brother of Pamelia Weiser-Nociti and the late Edith Cann.  Loving grandfather of Timothy (Vanessa) Gonteski, Jolene Weiser and Charlotte Weiser.  Loving great grandfather of Elisha and Tessalynn Gonteski.  Loving uncle of Melanie, Kimberly, Lindsey & Michael Blithe and B.J. Cann.  Special cousin of Dawn & Brihanna Stevenson.
