Catherine ("Chris") Clarke

Catherine “Chris” Clarke, born December 5, 1926, passed away peacefully at home of her son in Turnersville, NJ on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael T. Clarke.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Clarke Cassese of Dublin, CA, Michael T. (Mary) Clarke, Jr., of Turnersville, NJ, James Clarke of Plainsboro, NJ, Thomas Clarke of Truckee, CA and Kelly Worrell (Ian) of Toms River, NJ and sister Gloria (William) LaPietra of Pacific Beach, FL.

Chris was a loving grandmother of 6 grandchildren, Michael, Tricia, Shannon, Brian, Houston and Charleston plus 4 great grandchildren, Noah Abby, Gabe and Sophie.

Chris grew up in Ridgefield Park and attended Ridgefield Park High School. At the age of 19 she married Michael T. Clarke and moved to Teaneck, NJ.  She was known for her excellent cooking skills and was a reserved woman who devoted her life to raising her five children.  Her children cook many of her favorite recipes to this day.

Services will be provided privately for the family.  Donations may be made to the Society for the Blind, 1238 S. St., Sacramento, CA 95811.
