To Dan's Family,
We just found out about Dan's passing. So saddened. Dan was our Mail Carrier for almost 16 years. We became good friends over the years and shared many laughs as he would stop when delivering the mail and we would chat about everything. He was the best. Always did a Great Job and truly dedicated. Each Christmas we would give him a bottle of "Crown Royal" and his eyes would light up with a Big Smile. He often spoke about his family which he loved very much. We are gonna miss you Dan! Rest in Peace.

Judi and the DelConte family, please accept my sincerest condolences with the passing of Danny. He was a great guy, Danny was my mailman. I got to know him over the past several years and we developed a mutual friendship. He would purposely stop and chat with me whenever he saw me outside, or driving by. We had many a long discussions over politics, football or whatever was the hot topic of the day! I was only sorry that I learned of his passing just yesterday, I would have wanted to pay my last respect to him at his services. Danny will surely be missed, not just by me, but by the many people he served along his route. He will always be in my prayers, and may he rest in peace with the Lord.

Danny, We all had some great times together in school. It is the passing of one so dear to us that makes us sit and reflect and wonder why we are not all better in touch. I wish we had stayed in touch much longer Danny, but am grateful for the memories I have with you. We cannot get back time but maybe the rest of us need to find a way to do better by each other and get in touch. Many times through the hard times, the better times can emerge and that would be because of you. I hope you rest in peace and that they have internet in heaven. Rest well, our friend until we can all reunite in harmony once more. Prayers and love to your wonderful family.

Danny taught you to be the men you are today. And that was definitely hard work, LOL. But he was so proud of you guys. What great men you turned out to be. Please always be there for your mom, Dan loved her and that's what he would want. She needs you guys more than ever. Judi, you know my heart. I don't have to put it into words. i am shocked and saddened on hearing this news. you were on the very fist high school basketball team that i coached.......... a great natural shooter, too. how ironic that you became my neighbor on the same block on opposite ends of the street in forest hills. through the years we would talk when we saw each other and you ALWAYS had a huge smile and were ALWAYS friendly. i will greatly miss not being able to see that wave and smile any more. my heart goes out to your family's loss. i am also upset that i'm out of the country and will not be able to pay my final respects to you personally. rest peacefully, my friend and neighbor.

For Danny's family I say a prayer and send condolences. May God bless you with strength to get through this very difficult time.
Danny was a dear friend to me in high school. Truly made getting through the four years of a roller coaster time in my life a lot easier!! My parents only liked a handful of my many friends from school and Danny was at the top of the list! If I was "grounded" on punishment he would stop by and convince my parents to let him take me out for an ice cream. They caved every time . So many memories of him put a smile on my face like having to run down the street pushing his VW then jump in while he "popped" the clutch to get it started! He was the "secret weapon" on WHS basketball team. Long before three point shots counted as 3 points he was a master at it. I can remember being excited to see him go in a game because I knew we were going to be putting the points on the board then. They would hold him on the bench, put him in the game, the team would feed him the ball as he stood out in the now 3 point zone and made every shot he took!
Great times with a great friend and while our paths took different directions after school Danny was one friend that I know would be there and pick up where we left off if the situation arose. I was happy to have gotten the chance to see him and share good times with him at our high school reunion a couple years ago.
I know he is in Heaven now and may his family find peace in his memories.

So very sorry to hear of Danny's passing. Danny was my smile and laughter everyday through our many years at the post office. When he was showing me the ropes on my new mail route, he would tell me at one particular house not to get out of the mail truck because they grew "poppys" there and like in the Wizard of Oz, it would make me fall asleep. Always made me laugh, sleep and rest well my friend!! My heart goes out to Judy and his entire family.

I'm so so sorry to hear of Danny's passing. He was my best "guy" friend through grade school at St Mary's, and high school. Danny drove me to & from school every day until I was old enough to drive myself! We had so many good times, and so many long phone conversations about everything under the sun. It makes me smile just thinking about it! Danny, I hope you're golfing up in heaven, and if you see my dad, say hi, tell him we love him & miss him! I can still hear him yellingl at us to get off the phone? Love, hugs & prayers for Danny's family.
