Easton David Windhurst

Easton David Windhurst, age 4, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away Wednesday morning, July 12th, at his home with his loving family by his side. Easton fought a courageous 19-month battle with aplastic ependymoma.

Beloved son of Michael and Ashley (Sheehan) Windhurst.  Dear brother of Trent and Sadie.  Precious grandson of Beverly (nee Mulligan) & the late David Windhurst and William & Cecilia (nee Stiglich) Sheehan.  Loving nephew of Michelle Windhurst, William (fianceé Rebecca Riether) Sheehan, Lindsay Sheehan and Kaitlyn Sheehan.  Loving cousin of Logan. 

Easton was blessed in his short life with an amazing family and many friends. Despite his battle he was able to travel to Disney World, swim regularly with his family, frequent the Walmart toy aisle on a regular basis, play with his siblings Trent and Sadie, spend special time with his adoring aunts and uncles – Will, Lindsay, Kate and Michelle, find friendship with his cousin Logan, attend preschool and play tee ball.

Friends and family and his beloved #TeamEaston are welcome to attend a visitation on Tuesday, July 18th from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown.  Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM.

Because Easton was a superhero in the hearts of everyone who met him, the family requests that those attending the service wear bright colors or superhero attire. Please no black attire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Easton’s memory may be sent to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (http://www.chop.edu/giving) or the National Brain Tumor Society (http://braintumor.org/giving).
