Henrietta I. Tinder (nee Harper), 89, of Sicklerville, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 14, 2019.
In her younger years Henrietta excelled on the basketball court and was a member of the Tredyffrin-Easttown Varsity Basketball team. Henrietta spent many years as a supervisor for the JCP Catalog in Turnersville. She was a devoted member of Albion Bible Church for over 25 years. She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Most of all Henrietta loved her family deeply and enjoyed the time she spent with them.
Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Tinder. Devoted mother of Janet (late Anthony) Canale, Barbara (late John) Nash, Sandra (Robert Hanning) Tinder, Charles (Kathy) Tinder, Jr., the late Sherry (Manuel) Novales and the late Gary (Holly) Tinder. Dear sister of the late Elwood Harper, the late Truman Harper and the late Josephine Buckley. Loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren. Loving great grandmother of 34 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, June 18th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. A Funeral Service will follow at 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 19th at the Sicklerville Methodist Cemetery, Sicklerville.
