Pearline Bolden received her wings on Monday September 30th at 11:30am. Born January 12, 1960 to Carl and Louise Holland at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. Pearline was raised in Glassboro, NJ along with her other siblings until she left one day to live with her best friend Theresa and her family The Bolden’s. Pearline lived with the Bolden’s until she was old enough to marry her boyfriend, Effie Bolden Jr, who was her best friends brother. She attended Delsea Regional High School but later receiving her GED.
While married to Effie Jr they had two daughters Clarrisa and Christina. She worked all types of jobs while raising her family. She wanted to be sure her girls would have everything she didn’t. Years later after divorcing Effie Jr, Pearline was able to buy a house for her and the girls in Williamstown. It was always her dream to own her home before the girls graduated High school. For years she worked for McDonald’s to save for her house. Pearl may have also employed everyone from the surrounding towns who needed a job as well. Pearl was everyone’s mother, friend, boss and whatever else you needed her to be.
Pearline had a big heart which would lead her to give whatever she could to whomever needed. She loved music, dancing, crocheting and many others but nothing trumped bowling. Her favorite motto “If you want something you need to work hard for it.” Pearl as we all knew her will truly be missed.
