Sylvia Ann (Warren) Cooper affectionately known as (Baba) entered this world on June 16, 1937 in Camden, New Jersey to the late Norman and Ethel Mae Warren. Still under God's Mercy, Sylvia departed this life on October 6, 2019 at 7:46pm.
Sylvia married her high school sweetheart the late Robert N. Cooper Sr. (MooMoo) in 1978. To this union three children were born.
Sylvia grew up on Stanger Avenue in Glassboro, NJ. She was a member of the following churches: First Baptist Church in Glassboro, NJ, Faith Tabernacle Community Church in Clayton, NJ, and Mt. Zion Baptist in Glassboro, NJ.
Sylvia attended the Nursing program at Salem Community College. Sylvia was retired from Struthers Dunn as a Relay Manufacturer for F-16 Aircrafts. Sylvia was a devoted Mother and Wife while balancing her family obligation and raising her three children.
Sylvia is preceded in death by two loving sisters Sarah Minor and Ethel Minor, as well as her beloved son Robert N. Cooper Jr. Mourning her departure, yet thanking God for many years with beautiful memories, are her Loving and devoted children. Stacy Cooper - Jackson Newark, DE; Hasan W. Cooper Williamstown, NJ. One Loving Son in-law, Michael A. Jackson; Two Loving Daughter-in-laws, Rakisha Cooper and Doris Cooper; Nine Adored Grandchildren, Xavier Jackson, Cainaan Cooper, Nikko Jackson, Ricco Jackson, Tamara Cooper, Robert (Bobby) Cooper, Shakira Jones, Chyna Scott, and Kymora Scott. Two Special Great Grandchildren, Arabella Nikkole Jackson and Valentina Joslyne Jackson. One Devoted and Loving Sister, Audrey Warren.
Sylvia was loved by a host of Nieces and Nephews. Carol Holsey, Joseph St. John Mayo, Norman Minor, and Andrew Minor. Great Nieces, Teresa Gilmore, Patricia Holsey, Andrew Minor III, and Curtis Minor. Loved by a host of friends and extended family, far too many to name.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, October 12th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main Street, Williamstown. Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Cremation private.
