Angelo Schallus

Angelo Schallus, 91, of Woodbury Heights, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

Angelo served his country honorably as a US Corporal for Army Air Force.  He owned and operated his barber shop in Woodbury for many years. He had a passion for golf and he was lucky to be able to play golf with is son in law (Bill), great friend (Chucky), grandson (Bill), grandson (Jay) and great grandson (Jaden). His smile and laughter would light up a room when he would walk in. He loved making jokes and making others laugh. He enjoyed being with his entire family and especially his great grandchildren. He was the greatest husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed dearly. 

Beloved husband of Betty Jo (nee Barnett) for 71 years.  Devoted father of Menina (William) Imperatore and Weston Thomas Schallus.  Dear brother of George Schallus, Virginia Dinmore and the late Joseph Schallus.  Loving grandfather of Nina (Bob) Mcelwain, William (Christus) Imperatore, Thomas (Kathy) Schallus, Michele (Josh) Paxton, Angela (Jay) Reid, Sheena (Jerry) DeFrance and Anthony (Gina) Schallus.  Loving great grandfather of 14 great grandchildren. Also surviving is his "adopted son" Charles Wilson.

Due to the current health crisis, Funeral Services and Interment with Military Honors will be held privately.
