Anthony S. Vecchio, 93, of Williamstown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 2, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Anthony was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Mater Christi Council 3142, a retired Union Drywall Finisher of Local #1955 and an American Legion Post 252 member. He was a loving and hardworking family man who will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by his loving parents Vincenzo and Marietta Vecchio. Beloved husband of the late Joanna Vecchio. Devoted father of Anthony (Sandi) Vecchio, Daniel (Kathy) Vecchio, Carole McHale, Vincent (Tabitha) Vecchio, Mark Vecchio, Joanna Grasso, Eileen Vecchio, Mary Vecchio and the late Frank Vecchio. Dear brother of the late Anna Davis. Loving grandfather of 28 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. Lifelong friend of Dominic Giacobbe.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, July 11th from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
