Arlene F. Augustin

Arlene F. Augustin, age 82, passed away peacefully in Voorhees, NJ on May 31, 2024.

She was the youngest of three children born to Joseph and Florence (nee Rementer) Augustin (deceased) in South Philadelphia. Arlene worked in sales for a series of department stores in Philadelphia throughout her life. After she retired, Arlene moved to Friendly Village in Williamstown with her beloved big sister, Patricia Allen (deceased). Arlene never married or had any children of her own but devoted her life to family and was a caretaker for her grandparents and parents. She took care of her older sister Pat during her final days, forming half of what we jokingly referred to in the family as the Bicker Sisters.

Arlene is survived by her older brother Donald Augustin (Diana) of Florida, niece Sheilann Hewitt (Tom Ciampaglia), nephew Dr. Wun Augustin (Ana Lisa) of Arkansas and niece Gina Hansen (Bill) of Texas. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews Joelle Ciampaglia, Tommy Ciampaglia (Liz), Mike Ciampaglia, Bennett, Harper and Austen Augustin, and Chloe, William and Garick Hansen, as well as numerous cousins and lifelong friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, June 7th from 10:30 -11:30 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown.
