Barbara Booth

Barbara Booth (nee Mobley), 81, of Gibbsboro, NJ was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in West Atco, New Jersey, graduating from Edgewood High School in Winslow Twp NJ. She married her high school sweetheart Ron and settled down in Gibbsboro NJ. Barbara was a devoted homemaker, and once her children reached high school, she pursued her college education, obtaining her Associate’s degree from Camden County College, and Bachelor’s degree from Glassboro State College. Upon finishing college, she became a respected educator in the Camden County school system. 

Barbara was a dedicated Philadelphia sports fan even being a Phillies season ticket holder. On the local sporting level, she was the biggest cheerleader for her children as well as the neighborhood kids, rooting for them in basketball, football, field hockey, cheerleading, band, and baseball, while often acting as the neighborhood taxi to and from these events. She too participated in sports.  She was an avid bowler, winning bowling tournaments throughout the USA. 

Barbara passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. 

Predeceased by her parents James and Dorothy Mobley. Beloved wife of Ronald Booth Sr.   Devoted mother of Ronald Jr.  (Judy) Booth, Kevin (Kimberlee) Booth and Belinda Pizarro. Loving grandmother of Ronald III (Dannette), Brittany (Allen), Andre, Kevin II (Ashley), Robert, Ashley, TJ (Ashley). Loving great grandmother of Tristan, Elijah, Dannetlee , Bella, Cataleia, Liara, Ronald Lucas and Kevin III. Dear sister of the late Dorothy Rivera.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday, June 11th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Time of Remembrance will follow at 1:00 PM. Cremation private.
