Barbara E. (Riley) Edelman

Barbara E. Edelman (nee Riley), loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, age 81 of the Villages, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on July 10, 2020.

Barbara was born in Philadelphia, PA. on October 25, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Florence Riley and Thomas Riley. In 1956 Barbara married her lasting love, Nicholas Edelman Jr., with whom she shared 64 years. They raised three children and taught them by example the values of faith, family, and friends.

Barbara took pride in being a dedicated Mom, Gram, G-Mom, and watching her family grow. Barbara and Nick shared a love for Wildwood Crest, NJ where they enjoy their second home. They welcomed family and friends to their home and enjoyed sharing their love of life. They retired to the Villages Florida, and continued to have the pleasure of making new friends, playing golf, playing cards, and riding around in their golf carts.

She is survived by her loving husband Nicholas Edelman Jr., and children Nicholas Edelman III (Wendy), William Edelman (Louise), Barbara Cunane, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, August 29th from 10;00 - 11:00 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main Street, Williamstown. Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM. A Funeral Luncheon will follow at the Scotland Run Golf Club, 2626 Fries Mill Rd., Williamstown.
