Barbara Steinberg Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Mrs. Barbara Ann Steinberg (Warren), 62, of Franklinville, NJ, who passed away on April 25, 2022. She is fondly remembered for her contagious laugh, irresistible playfulness, immense compassion, impressive resilience, and boundless love for her family. No one will forget the way her smile lit up the room nor her enduring support for those close to her big heart of gold.

Barbara was born on March 11, 1960. She was the fourth of Mildred (Motta) and Gerald Warren's six children. Her father's career as a U.S. serviceman took the family all over the world before they finally settled in Succasunna, NJ. She graduated from Roxbury High School and later worked as a billing specialist, which she continued until her recent retirement.

Family was everything to this remarkable woman. She was a pillar of strength and a steadfast source of comfort for her husband, William Steinberg, two sons, Philip and Frank, and many dear relatives, and friends. No matter what may be happening in life, Barbara always had a cure: a heaping dose of giggles and silliness, her specialty.

Being a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend brought much joy to Barbara Steinberg's life. She was delighted to dedicate much of her time to her loved ones. She treasured the beautiful memories of every concert, beach getaway, trip, and gathering she shared with her favorite people.

Barbara was preceded in passing by her doting husband, William Steinberg; loving parents, Mildred Warren (Motta) and Gerald Warren; and dear sister, Mary Warren. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Philip Venticinque (Jennifer) and Frank Venticinque; six beautiful grandchildren, Cecilia, Christian, Haylee, Mackenzie, Madison, and Gabriella; adoring brothers, Gerald, Tom and his wife Patricia, Edward, and John Warren; many wonderful nieces and nephews; and a host of close friends and extended relatives. Her legacy of selflessness and compassion will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.

True to her selfless nature, Barbara wished to continue helping others in her absence by donating her body to the Anatomy Gifts Registry in hopes of helping those who will face the same battles.
