Carole E. Huylebroeck

Carole E. Huylebroeck (nee Lehman), 84, of Glassboro, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 28, 2024. She was born in Bayonne and always loved going back to enjoy the memories.  

Carole lived for her children. They were her world. She adored her cat “Charlie”. She enjoyed bingo, especially with her sister Denise. She loved to bowl and kept that same ball since she was a teen. She helped her 2 daughters get through nursing school by keeping a close watch on her granddaughter and making endless lunches. She loved when her son Rob would visit, although he always showed up with a tool belt only to be greeted with a “What are you fixing NOW?”  She had a hand in raising all 7 of her grandchildren at some time or another. They all stayed with Grandma and she wouldn’t have it any other way. She absolutely loved being a lifelong waitress and missed it so much when she retired. Later years, she enjoyed going to the Trio Tavern in Williamstown and helping out in the kitchen when she could.

She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Ethel Lehman. Beloved wife of the late Robert Weber, Sr.  Devoted mother of Chris Huylebroeck, Cassie Huylebroeck, Robert Weber Jr, John Weber and Cindy Bahgat. Dear sister of Lois Schick and Charles (Jane) Lehman, the late Bobby Lehman, the late Denise O’Brien and cousin of Diane Rodre. Loving grandmother of John, Kim, Alicia, Tara, Becca, Robby Jr, Robby and Great Grandmother of Abigail

Friends and relatives are invited to attend her Graveside Service 12:00 PM Thursday, January 2nd at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07306.
