Christopher Edelman Obituary

Christopher W. Edelman, 36, of Franklinville, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 31, 2022.

Devoted father of Christopher “CJ” and Brycen.  Beloved son of Nicholas III and Wendy Edelman (née Lewis). Loving grandson of Nicholas Jr. (the late Barbara Edelman) & the late Albert and Vivian Lewis. Dear brother of Nicholas (Beth) Edelman IV and Daniel (Kelly) Edelman. Loving uncle of Mae, Jameson, Addison and Aurora.

Chris most cherished being with his boys – many of their fondest adventures and memories took place outside: in the backyard where they would ride ATVs, play ball and swim; at local ponds and lakes where they fished together; and, whether outdoors or indoors, delighting in the infamous yet unofficial sport of father-son roughhousing. When Chris, CJ and Brycen were together, the joy and laughter was abundant and contagious.

Chris was an outdoor enthusiast – he loved each of the seasons, particularly winter for snowboarding and summer for beachgoing. Chris was a sun in his face and wind in his hair guy. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and tinkering with devices, gadgets and tools in the garage. He was an avid vegetable gardener, with a particular penchant for hot peppers and an accomplished jerky maker – his passion, patience and skills resulted in many culinary creations in the kitchen, to the delight of his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, February 5th from 12:30 – 2:00 PM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown.
