Concetta R. "Jennie" Kuhar (nee Leonardi), 83, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Jennie spent 65 years loving her best friend and dear husband Jim. They had two children and built a beautiful life together. They spent many years traveling the world, visiting 33 countries and 42 states in all. Jim never traveled without Jennie. Italy being one of their favorite countries to visit. She was an excellent cook, loved to garden in her spare time and spend time at their Brigantine Beach home. Artistry was one of her special talents and hobbies. She loved all aspects of art including photography. Her favorite artistic passion was Diamond Painting. She would create beautiful masterpieces for her family and friends to enjoy. She and Jim created a wonderful life and amazing family with many memories along the way. Jennie will be sadly missed by all of those who she loved so dearly.
Beloved wife of James P. Kuhar, Sr. for 61 years. Devoted mother of Karen Kay (George) Creel and James (Brenda) Kuhar, Jr. Dear sister of Palmina “Polly” Leonardi. Loving grandmother of Nikki (Jeff) Henderson, Kyle (Kristin) Kuhar, Kaitlyn Creel, Sarah (Michael) Patterson and George Creel, III. Loving soon to be great grandmother to her first great grandchild, due April 30th. Loving step great grandmother to two step great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday evening April 25th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and on Friday morning April 26th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamston. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown, NJ 08094. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made in Jennie’s memory to Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church at the above address.
