Darryl W. Folk of Williamstown passed away suddenly on October 4, 2025.
He was the son of the late James Lee Folk & Dolores Folk (Tisi). Survived by his sister Carrie (Robert) Owens and his nephews Robert Owens and Kevin Owens. His brother James Folk. His sisters Sandy and Jamie. Survived by his former wife and best friend, Claire Folk and their daughters Carleigh Marie and Dara Brooke. He valued every moment spent with his girls and enjoyed many years of youth basketball as their Coach.
He was a lover of the nightlife and a dance floor. Darryl was a sharp dresser who kept the three Folk girls engaged in fashion and football.
How bout dem Cowboys?!
By trade, he was a Steamfitter with Local 420 then moved onto multiple jobs within the HVAC industry. Darryl’s personality allowed him to excel at sales, mechanical engineering and construction. He was bright and talented and knew how to execute an interview like no other.
Darryl spent his best days, unlike most, in high school, and loved to tell the stories of being a menace, all the music of the 90’s and how he had too many parties to attend and too many friends to count.
Despite many life struggles and challenges, Darryl was the wittiest and toughest guy around with an ability to bring happiness to the table with his cooking.
Somewhere the darkness crept in carefully and Darryl left us all wondering why. He will forever live through the spirit of his daughters. His life was so important to his family and if love could have saved him he would have lived forever.
