David DeVleeschower Obituary

David L. DeVleeschower, 81, of Collings Lakes, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2023, at his home.

David was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus #8718.  In his younger years, he enjoyed coaching youth wrestling and football teams for the Buena Braves. David was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He was a retired IBEW Local 351 Union Electrician for many years and a volunteer for various causes and organizations that he cared deeply about. 

Beloved husband of the late Benedetta “Detta” (nee DiGerolamo). Devoted father of David DeVleeschower and the late Mark DeVleeschower.  Predeceased by his mother Lucianna DeVleeschower and his father Julius DeVleeschower.  Dear brother-in-law of Charles (Karen) DiGerolamo and the late Madeline (the late Carmine) Fiore.  Predeceased by his dear aunt June Goethals. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Loving cousin of Norm (Gail) Goethals and the late Kenny (Emily) Goethals.  

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, February 20th from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 19 Malaga Rd., Collings Lakes. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM.  Inurnment 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 21st at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Friends of Joey Foundation - Helping Kids Fight Cancer, 124 Lake George Dr., Collings Lakes, NJ 08094.
