Deborah Fauerbach Obituary

Deborah Elaine Fauerbach (nee Kania), 75, of Williamstown, joined her loved ones in heaven on March 6, 2024. Born to Chester and Elaine Kania on September 14, 1948, in Binghamton, New York. Debbie was a long-time resident of Williamstown, New Jersey where she devoted her life to family and friends. Survived by her son Albert, Daughter in Law Lindsay, and four grandchildren Olivia, Madison, Justin, and Zoe. Debbie’s kindness and positivity touched the hearts of all those who knew her.

Debbie had many interests in life. Some of her favorite pastimes were gathering with friends, frequenting the casinos, spending summer days on the beach, and of course listening to the music of Elvis Presley. His songs brought back tender memories of her childhood. Elvis Presley was her idol, and she was his biggest fan.

Debbie tirelessly worked as a bus driver for the children of Williamstown schools. Over the years, she safely transported thousands of students to their destinations. Her most treasured passengers were the Kindergarteners. They filled her days with cheerful greetings and sweet goodbyes. Their giggles and conversations filled the airy space of the bus making it the happiest hour of her day. She took great pride in releasing them to their parents, eagerly waiting at bus stops sprinkled around town. The most important part of the job was the special friendships Debbie made along the way. Debbie appreciated the stability and acceptance this group provided and cherished the times spent together.

The littlest people in Debbie’s life had the greatest impact. Her four grandchildren Olivia, Madison, Justin and Zoe were on the tippy top of her list. If you could have peeked inside Debbie’s heart, you would see their smiling faces brightly leading the way. She loved sitting on the carpet with them playing make believe games, coloring pictures, or watching a television program. Her favorite activity was watching them gaze out the window pointing to birds or describing what was going on outside. She loved showering them with presents on birthdays and holidays to be sure they felt the love in her heart.

Deborah’s happiest days were those spent with her son Brian. He supported her through all of life’s triumphs and tribulations with kindness and strength. Brian’s lighthearted demeanor comforted Debbie and always made her feel safe and cared for. He would soften the mood with his infectious smile and never pass up an opportunity to tell a joke and make everyone in the room laugh. He taught her, and everyone surrounding her, not to take life too seriously. Brian was the greatest joy of her life.

Debbie was truly an amazing woman whose impact will forever be felt by everyone who loved her. May she rest in peace looking over those she loved forever.
