Dennis A. Monzo

Dennis A. Monzo, Jr., 46, of Newfield, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021. 

Dennis was a devout Catholic who prayed the Rosary daily. He was a humble man who was devoted to his family and faith. He worked for South State Inc., as a Project Manager for many years. He was a longtime member of Hassetts Jiu-Jitsu earning his black belt and ready to test for his red stripe this month. He worked very hard for this and his family were his biggest fans. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding dirt bikes and watching his children grow and enjoy life. His favorite Saturday morning ritual was taking his youngest boy Michael to Dunkin' Donuts.  

Beloved husband of Lisa Monzo (nee Hanley).  Devoted father of Marissa, Dennis, Ava and Michael.  Loving son of Dennis and Kathleen Monzo.  Loving son-in-law of Mike Hanley and Kathleen (Kurt) Hunsberger.  Dear brother of Lisa (Jean) Vasquez, Kathleen Hughes and Michelle (Jason) Acker.  Loving grandson of Concetta & the late Anthony Monzo and the late Neil and the late Josephine McIntyre, Sr. Loving uncle to six nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by many family and friends who will deeply miss him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewings on Wednesday, July 21st from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and Thursday July 22nd from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 :00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s RC Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown.  Interment All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
