Donald E. Wendler, 66, of Clayton, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Don was known to most as the “Body Man.” He was a talented and respected auto body collision expert. He enjoyed the time he spent with his children and cherished the special bond he had with them. Especially when they were fixing cars and motorcycles, chatting, making memories and hanging out. He also loved vacationing in Florida and boating.
Beloved husband of Lisa Wendler (nee Wilson) of 33 years. Loving son of Albert Wendler and the late Joanne Wells. Devoted father of Donald Wendler, Jamie (Jon) Turner, Brandon (Kristy) Wendler, Eric Wendler the late Ricky Wendler and Shawn (Lianne) McDermott. Dear brother of Albert Wendler, Christopher Wendler and Kenneth Wendler. Survived by 6 loving grandchildren and 1 loving great - grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday May 23rd from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Franklinville.
