Dorothy M. Rose

Dorothy M. Rose (nee Ryder), 62, of Williamstown, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022.

Dorothy was an avid beach lover.  You could usually find her there, toes in the sand, between April and November as long as the sun was shining.  She loved to shop, eat, hang out and travel with her many friends and family.  She loved a good time!  Her pride and greatest joy were her grandchildren.  She was blessed to have seven and made them the center of her world, showing up for all of them in their daily lives.

Beloved wife of the late Jimmie Rose.  Devoted mother of Jennifer (Marc) Rose-Wilson, Jimmie Rose and Jason (Melissa) Rose.  Dear sister of Michael (Mary) Ryder, Carol Simons, Sean (Joanne) Ryder, Kathleen Dison and Kevin Ryder. Loving grandmother of Aidan, Liam, Jason, Evan, Ella, Christian and Nathan.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday, March 3rd from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Friday, March 4th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM.  Cremation private.
