Douglas L. Perkins

Douglas L. “Homie” Perkins, 82, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at his home.      

Douglas was an avid golfer and member of Wedgewood Country Club.  In his earlier years he was a comedian.  He enjoyed life, was a dear friend to many, loved his family and loved to make people smile. 

Beloved husband of the late Edith Mae Perkins.  Devoted father Douglas Perkins, Jr., Deirdre Perkins and Donnell (Eileen) Perkins.  Devoted stepfather of Rodney Thornton, Sylvia Conard, Marvyne Cameron the late Marva Brown.  Dear brother of Maurice (Betty) Perkins, Millicent (Warren) Small, the late Gloria Perkins and late Johnny Perkins. Loving grandfather of Latasha, Joshua, Isaiah, Donnell Jr., “DJ”, Brendan, Dominique, Leah, Preston and Tatiana. Loving great grandfather of Jamilah and Milani.  Loving step-grandfather of Rakisha, Shamecca, Edie, Kenny and Marvin

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, January 29th from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at St. Matthews's Baptist Church, 245 Glassboro Rd., Williamstown. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 AM.  Interment Brotherhood Cemetery, Williamstown.
