Edward (Ed) Hyndman of Williamstown, NJ, passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 79 surrounded by his loving family.
In his youth Ed worked on a farm, then installed and serviced alarms at ADT for many years. Though he enjoyed retirement, those who knew Ed recognized that he absolutely never stopped working. Ed was a devoted family man, builder and woodworker, and the definition of strength and perseverance. A man of few words, the ones he said mattered. The people he loved never doubted it, as he would do anything for them with a generous heart.
Ed volunteered with Cross Keys United Methodist Church at the food bank and community breakfasts, enjoyed playing cards and going out to breakfast at the diner, and quickly built anything and everything his family could dream up. He loved making people smile with silly costumes and homemade holiday cards. He was a proud and devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend. Ed will be sorely missed by so many of us.
He is survived by his three children, Keith Hyndman, Karyn Blaker (Randy), and Kristopher Hyndman; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Brianna, Alyssa, Paige, Erik, Mina, and Xavier; three great grandchildren; brothers Thomas Hyndman (Joyce), William Hyndman, sister Florence Dean (Thomas); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial and Celebration 11AM Tuesday, June 25th at Cross Keys Methodist Church, 1644 N. Main St., Williamstown.
