Elizabeth “Anne” Hertz

Elizabeth “Anne” Hertz (nee Bendell), 78, of Williamstown, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. 

“Anne” was an elementary teacher for over 30 years and was an avid reader. She loved to travel, cook, garden and spend time with family and friends.  A faithful member of the Hammonton Baptist Church, she was married to her loving husband for 51 years before his passing in 2016. They had a marriage that one could only wish for.  Anne continued to live her life to the fullest after John’s passing, and they are now happily reunited. She was an amazing mom and grand-mom and we couldn’t have wished for a more loving, caring, nurturing mom, grand-mom, sister, aunt and friend.

Beloved wife of the late John Ray Hertz.  Devoted mother of Jennifer (Jason) Mejzak and Justin (Carly) Hertz.  Dear sister of Jane (Cary) Stone. Loving grandmother of Sean and Nolan Mejzak & Brooke and Hannah Hertz. Loving aunt of Richard Palmer and great aunt of Kaitlyn and Dylan Palmer.  Loving aunt of the late Sean Robbins and late Keith Robbins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Anne’s viewing on Friday, October 7th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Seaville United Methodist Church, 3100 Shore Rd., Ocean View, NJ. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment Seaville Methodist Cemetery.
