Elizabeth "Betty" A. Carter

Elizabeth “Betty” Carter (nee Laspee), 79, of Williamstown, passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family on February 15, 2024.

Betty grew up and lived almost her entire life in Williamstown.  Wife of the late John “Jack” Carter, II.  For many years, they owned what was once Jack and Betty’s Tavern in the Cecil Section of Williamstown.  Also, pre-deceased by her daughter Elizabeth “Betty” Nean and son Raymond Nean.

She is survived by her two sons John “Jack” Carter, III (Karen) and Richard “Rich” Carter (Patty).  Also, five grandchildren Tara and Raymond Nean & Jenna, Justin and Jamie Carter and 3 great grandsons Quinlen, Carver and Lynx Friel.

Funeral Services will be private at the request of the family.
