Ellen C. Morgan

Ellen Cecilia Morgan (nee Dougherty), 86, of South Philadelphia, passed away peacefully at home with family, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

Ellen was a very giving person of her time and generosity. She always wished the best for everyone and loved having conversations with everyone from friends, relatives and neighbors.

She enjoyed interior design, art, history, historic renovation and her garden was her pride and joy. She spent a good part of her retirement attending art classes at Fleischer. She will be sadly missed by her family, many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends. 

Beloved wife of the late Robert J Morgan. Devoted mother of Robert (Mary) Morgan, Thomas (Patty) Morgan, Kelly Anne (Marty) Heston and companion Jim McCloskey, and the late Wayne Morgan and his late companion Kimberly Petraglia and late daughter-in-law Lorraine Pellicciotti. Loving grandmother of Shawn Morgan, Robert Morgan, Marisa Morgan, Ryan Morgan, Martin Heston III and Thomas Morgan. Dear sister of the late Francis (Frances) Dougherty, the late Patricia (the late Charles) Klotz, the late Jack (Nancy) Dougherty, the late Joseph (Lorraine) Dougherty and the late Elizabeth (the late Frank) Vogel.

Funeral Services and interment will be held privately at the request of the family.
