Gary Stiles

Gary A. Stiles, 71, of Williamstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side.

Gary was a man whose life was centered on faith, family, and love. He was the founding pastor of Streams of Life Church, where he faithfully served and developed many lasting friendships. Gary believed that God and family were the most important things in life, and he lived according to those values every day.

Gary enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved crossword puzzles, cross-stitching, and reading. He was an avid sports fan who faithfully followed the Philadelphia Phillies and Buffalo Bills through every season. Nothing, however, brought him greater happiness than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored and cherished.

Gary was the beloved husband of 51 years to Irene (Smyzuk). Devoted father of Gary (Beverly) Stiles, Jessica (Gary) Podosek and Holly (Ed) Pasternak. Loving grandfather of Brianna Apt (Tyler), Aiden, Cooper, Charlotte and Joshua. Dear brother of Walter Stiles, Raymond (Sue) Stiles, Kathleen (the late Peter) Gallucci, David Stiles and the late Kenneth Stiles. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

 Gary's kindness, devotion to his family and his strong faith and conviction will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on in the family he treasured and the lives he touched throughout his journey.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Gary’s life on Saturday, June 6th from 9:30 – 11:00 AMat the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Cemetery.
