We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, Inc.
George Adams, 78, of Williamstown, died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.
George’s charm was magnetic, and he was “the man about town” literally and figuratively.
He served our country proudly as a Marine and was also a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3352, an usher for Our Lady of Peace Parish, the oldest active member of the Monroe Township Ambulance Association where he selflessly volunteered his service to the community for over 50 years.
Beloved husband of Patty (nee Pace) for 56 years. Devoted father of George N. Adams (Denise), Heather Helveston (Jim) and the late Cheri Bock. Loving grandfather of Gena, Jennie, Jimmie, Alyssa, George Jr. “Nick” and Lucas who affectionately called him Poppy.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewings on Monday, August 9th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM and Tuesday, August 10th from 10:30 – 11:30 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary’s Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown.
