George N. Caruso, Jr., 65, of Williamstown, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021.
George was a proud member of Philadelphia Carpenter’s Union Local 158 (formerly Local 8) and retired employee for Monroe Township MUA. George was a lifelong resident of Williamstown and gave back to his beloved community by volunteering as a baseball coach and serving as Vice President of the Monroe Twp. Little League and was referred to by almost everyone simply as “Coach.” He also devoted his time to the Monroe Township School Board serving two terms as the President. He had a passion for music as well and recently had his drums refurbished and was going to be playing with some of his old band mates soon.
Beloved husband of the late Michele (nee Cardone). Loving son of the late George & Julia Caruso Sr. Devoted father of Dee (Tony) Rotondi and George Caruso, III. Stepfather of Ronald Tracy (Tiffany) & Michael Tracy (Gina). Amazing grandfather to Carli & Giovanni Rotondi and Luke & Olivia Tracy. Dear brother of MaryAnne (Larry) Neu and Angie (James) Mosley. He is also survived by his sweet and loving dog, his best friend Jake.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, October 23rd from 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM. Private Inurnment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Williamstown will be for immediate family only.
