Gloria J. Burger

Gloria J. Burger (nee Frazer), 78, of Williamstown, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Curtis Burger. Devoted mother of Sueanne (Edems) Andre. Dear sister of the late Robert Frazer and the late Tomas Frazer.

My mother was my best friend, and always inspired me. She was a fighter in the worst of the times, and the embodiment of joy in the best times. She had a way of maintaining her sense of humor no matter the circumstances, and always knew that God was in control. She taught me these things by example, and I will always be grateful for all the love, friendship and memories we were blessed to share. I will miss all the trips we took together, hearing her singing her favorite Jim Reeves songs when she thought she was alone, watching westerns together in the middle of the night, her spying on my husband every time he worked on a project on the house, and I will even miss her begging me to order pizza every night. I thank God for blessing me with the best mother, and that I got to spend so much time with her in her last years. She gave so much love to me and my husband, and we will never forget her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, October 17th from 10:00-11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary's RC Church, Main St. & Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.
