Harry C. McIlvaine, Jr., 90, of Williamstown, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at his home.
Harry served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Harry was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and loved cooking. He was a member if the Spartan Gun Club, Sweetwater Gun Club, Williamstown Fire Department and the Men’s Club of Piney Hollow Church.
After retiring on 2001, Harry and his wife Judith moved to Nettles Island in Jensen Beach, FL, where Harry continued to fish most days and enjoyed the many activities. They traveled to Europe and the Middle East and continued to travel in their motor home throughout America and Canada then continued to cruise out of Florida.
Harry’s life was full and blessed with two wonderful sons, good health, hobbies, other interests, travel and good friends.
Beloved husband of Judith (nee Frederick) for 56 years. Devoted father of Bart (Sherry) McIlvaine and Chris (Maureen) McIlvaine. Dear brother of the late Ethel Pioppi. Loving grandfather of Christopher (Angelica) McIlvaine, Sr. and Jennifer (Brian) O’Donnell. Loving great grandfather of Christopher, Jr., Nicholas and James.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, December 29th from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 PM. Private Inurnment at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
