Howard Wolfenden Obituary

Howard S. Wolfenden, Jr., of Williamstown, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020.

The most brilliant, sweet, kind and most gentle soul departed well before his time, leaving a profound void in many hearts.  He was a loyal and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He loved unconditionally, and supported everyone without judgement.  He was a true fan of sports, the Eagles, Flyers, Phillies and enjoyed following golf while wearing a straw hat and a Hawaiian shirt with a good cigar. A connoisseur of all music, his every step was to the rhythm of the world. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing with his brothers of blood and brothers in law, gallivanting about the shores of the Earth with the family he chose: his friends. He treasured his children and grandchildren, and dedicated his every waking moment to his beloved Joan.

Survivors, wife Joan,  daughters, Angela Dix (Greg), Amy Perkins (Steve), Sons, Kevin (deceased) Aubrey Hays (Melissa), Grandson Cody Dix, granddaughters Nicole and Kerianne Perkins, Beatrix, Maebel and Winifred Hays.  Brothers Michael (d), Gerald (d), Timothy (d), Dave (Pat), sisters Judy(d), Margaret (John), Joanne, Susan.  Uncle and Great uncle to many adored nieces and nephews, a favorite of many cousins.

Walk into splintered sunlight

Inch your way through dead dreams to another land

Maybe you're tired and broken

Your tongue is twisted with words half spoken

And thoughts unclear

What do you want me to do

To do for you to see you through

A box of rain will ease the pain

And love will see you through ~Grateful Dead
