Jake Neuble Obituary

Jake P. Neuble was born on January 11, 1952 to the late Mary Dorothy and Jake Edward Neuble in Philadelphia, PA.

He along with his sister Mary Ella lived on 26th and Jefferson. He attended elementary and Robert Vaux Middle School. He ran track for them. At age 14 the family relocated to 1572 Ormond Ave Camden, NJ. He attended Hatch Middle and Camden High School. Graduated in 1969 and voted as “Best Dancer”.

After graduation he attended Temple Technical School as a surgical technician. He obtained employment with Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. In 1973 he was drafted into US Army and stationed in Germany. Personal situations had him return to Camden and resume employment with Lourdes. He worked for them for 15 years. He then was employed with Cooper Hospital. He worked as an OR Tech in their orthopedic surgical unit. He dedicated countless hours and 17 years there. It was joked about him having his own “bed” there. He retired due to health issues.

Jake known as “Junior” lived his life. He made his presence known. He knew about every and anything, talking for hours nonstop. He was sharp like a tack when not in scrubs. He loved all kinds of music and had crates of vinyl. The basement aka Junior’s spot was decorated with album covers and basketball posters. He was an avid sports fan, especially basketball and Julius “Dr. J” Erving. His hobbies included both fresh / saltwater fishing. His second love was his numerous tropical fish and aquariums.
