James E. Dougherty (known as Jim or Doc), aged 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Samaritan Hospice after having courageously and patiently facing a lifetime of medical challenges.
Jim was born in Camden, NJ to Dolores Campana and Gene Dougherty. He grew up with his Italian grandmother Lucy in Willingboro, excelled in baseball and football at Kennedy High, and raised his family in Sicklerville. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Karen, son Eric, daughter Jaimie (Ryan), and grandchildren Valerie and Evan Armstrong.

He loved coaching soccer, playing golf, and loyally rooting for the Alabama Crimson Tide, Dallas Cowboys, Yankees, and the Sabercats girls' soccer team.
