James Joseph Tichenor, 70, passed away peacefully in his home, on Friday, May 27, 2022 with his loving family by his side.
Beloved husband to Lorraine (nee Volpicella) for nearly 50 years. Cherished Father to Melissa Sheahan and her husband Michael. Dear sweet Oompa to his granddaughters Riley and Madison Sheahan. Father to Jennifer Difelice and Grandfather to Kaitlyn & Nicholas. Dear brother of John Tichenor. James Proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked as an operator at Philadelphia's Sunoco Refinery where he made it part of his job to care for the safety of his co-workers as well as wildlife that made the oil fields their home. After retiring 3 years ago, he loved spending his brand-new free time with his family. He was a skilled craftsman and loved listening to music. If his granddaughters were performing, you would certainly find him beaming with Pride from the front row. He was a good man and a friend to many. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of his company.
