James Wise

James Wise, 79, of Williamstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and listening to his favorite band, Metallica.

James was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Dorothea (née Schlotz), sharing over 50 years together. He was a loving and dedicated father to James (Liz) Wise II, always offering guidance, strength, and kindness.

A proud grandfather, James’s heart was filled with joy by his grandchildren, James Wise III (Felicity), Devon (Drew) Laskowski, Zachary Wise, and Nicholas Wise. His legacy of love and kindness continues through his great-grandchildren, Layla, Evelyn, and JJ, who brought him much happiness and pride.

James touched the lives of all who knew him with his gentle spirit, unwavering support, and warm smile. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his family and friends.

Funeral services and cremation will be private, honoring James’s wishes. His family invites all who knew and loved him to remember the beautiful moments shared and the love he so freely gave.
