Joan E. Berenato

Joan E. Berenato (nee Schenkel), 90, of Burlington, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, after a short illness. 

She was a tireless advocate dedicated to making a difference for those affected by mental health affliction.  She was a gentle soul, always ready with a smile and a helping hand. 

She was a devoted wife and mother who will now be reunited with her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bruce Berenato and loving daughters Rosanne Knoll, Patricia Berenato and Diane Mackintosh.

She is survived by her many friends, family and Olivia, someone always in Joan’s heart.

Funeral Services will be held privately at the request of the family.
