John L. Egenstafer, 80, of Little Egg Harbor Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1943 and soon after moved to Southern NJ. His education included a B.A. and M.A. in Art Education. John was a dean and a teacher in the Franklin Twp public School System in his earlier years. He has had many one man shows. John was a member of the Royal Society of the Arts, London, England and the New York Palette CLU.

Beloved father of April R. (Dave) Howey. Loving Stepfather of James Gavin, III. Predeceased by his loving parents Frank and Anna Egenstafer. Survived by dear friends Nancy & Ken Raisch, Joe Getsinger and former wife Patricia Egenstafer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service 10:30 AM Saturday, October 28th at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Williamstown. Family welcomes friends and family to at luncheon at the Howey Residence following the services.
