John A. Gellert

John A. Gellert, 85, of Williamstown, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2023.  Born on July 18, 1937, in Philadelphia to the late John and Jennie Gellert.  He was a 1955 graduate of Glassboro High School.

John was the proud owner of R&J Greenhouses for 25 years.  Previously he and his father owned John Gellert & Son, Manufacturer of Colonial Style Braided Rugs.  John enjoyed spending time in Brigantine and fishing on his boat “Passin Thru”.  To John, family meant everything.

Beloved husband of Rosalie M. (Cinque) for 64 years.  Devoted father of Donna (Richard) Hoffman, Kathy (Jimmy) DeLaurentis and Tina (Bob) Heffner.  Loving grandfather of RJ (Alexa) Heffner, Colton (Savanna) Heffner, Tara (Joey Branco) Heffner.  Loving great-grandfather of Roah and Lachlan.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Monday, April 24th from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown. Time of Remembrance will follow at 11:00 AM. Cremation private.
